Take care of toilet, Mayor tells GB merchant asso

Mayor Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder on Monday urged the merchant association of GB Market to take care of the modern toilet set up by Agartala Municipal Corporation. Majumder along with the local corporators inaugurated the new integrated toilet facility for the market association. “The onus of protecting the toilet now lies on the shoulders of the GB bazaar merchant association.

We have seen that toilets, particularly, installed by the government are not maintained well by the people. People who are using it should consider it as their private asset. Thousands of people come to this market from different corners of the state as the prime referral hospital of the state is located within a few yards away from the market. I hope the merchant association and the local people will look after this modern toilet,” Majumder added.
