VC polls: Ratan charges up party activists

Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Sunday chaired a meeting of BJP Janajati Morcha as a preparatory measure for the ensuing Village Committee elections scheduled to be held in the month of December. Elected representatives of as many as 11 Panchayats attended the meeting. “This is a preparatory meeting ahead of the village committee elections which is slated to be held in the month of December. The leaders of Janajati Morcha from Shimna and Lefunga block areas have arrived here. We have discussed a range of issues at length. What would be our primary issues and how we will kick start the campaign. Fruitful discussions have taken place and we hope we will be able to repeat our election performance,” said Nath.
