A fresh turn to the sensational Dasda Murder case, the nephew of the victim arrested

The sensational murder of one Nikhil Pal, a trader of Dasda Bazar in Kanchanpur Sub-division has taken a new turn as the police arrested his nephew Nirmal Pal for his alleged involvement in the crime. Nikhil Pal was murdered on the night of August 6 when he was returning home after closing his shop.

Local people suspected that he was the victim of a family dispute over property and they also organised a road blockade movement demanding immediate arrest of the killers. Ultimately, police arrested the nephew suspecting his involvement in the case.

Police said he was arrested after the primary investigation proved his involvement. The spade used for killing the trader also was recovered from his house.
