Chief secretary inaugurated the Agartala Smart City Data Center to monitor CC cameras connected to city traffic points

Chief Secretary JK Sinha inaugurated Agartala Smart City Limited's own data center yesterday. Apart from Chief Secretary JK Sinha at the inauguration of this data center on the ground floor of IT Bhavan in Indiranagar, Abhishek Singh, Secretary of Urban Development Department, Executive Officer of Agartala Smart City Limited, Dr. Shailesh Kumar Yadav was also present.
The executive officer of Agartala Smart City Limited Dr. Shailesh Kumar Yadav said, Agartala Smart City Limited is the first among all smart cities in the country to build its own data center.
Earlier the Smart City data center was jointly managed with DIT. He said that this data center was built at a total cost of 30 crore 72 lakh rupees. Its construction work has been completed within two months. All the Agartala city CCTV at various traffic points, LED display boards are connected to this data center. They are connected through a total of 156 km of optical fiber. This data center will store all types of data for a maximum of 30 days. But for special needs specific data can be kept as long as desired. Shailesh Yadav, CEO of Agartala Smart City said that the data center will be open 24x7.
