Irregular employees will not be regularized – Tripura Government Health Department has issued a notification

The state government will not regularize any irregular government employees for the time being. The health directorate administration has informed this by issuing a notification. However, during the Left Front government, there was a notification for regularization after ten years of service as an irregular employee in various departments of the state government. In 2018, the BJP had promised to regularize all categories of irregular employees in their vision document. When the BJP came to power in the state in 2018, it did not take any initiative to regularize the irregular employees. On the contrary, the BJP government stopped the process of regularization of irregular employees. Not only that, during the Left Front government, the irregular employees were given various financial opportunities including salary increase, DA payment every year. Even this was stopped by the BJP government after coming to power in 2018. Employees are retiring year after year as irregular employees. Despite working all his life, irregular employees is completely deprived of retirement pension, gratuity, accumulated leave due to negative decision of BJP government.

Due to such negative and anti-employee interest role of the BJP government, there is intense anger and dissatisfaction among the irregular employees working in various departments of the state government against the BJP government.

Out of this, on the basis of No.F2(1-CL)MS/Estt-III/2010 (Sub-4) from the Health Department of the State Government on July 25, the irregular employees working in various positions working in various projects of the State Government Health Department were informed that they will not be done regularly.
