Opposition leader Jiten Chowdhury and Congress leader Asish Saha and Sudip Roy Barman had to come back in the face of police obstruction while standing by the side of the victims of Gandatwisa. In this situation, the distressed people have appealed to the people of the state to raise funds themselves. Allegedly, the assistance provided to the victims so far at the administrative level is very little. So the victims of Gondatwisa's riots appealed to the people of the state for help. But although the police prevented the leaders and activists of the opposition party from seeing the plight of the victims of the Gandatwisa riots, a group of third gender (Kinnars) went to the spot yesterday to help and calm the victims of the riots.

Notably, on July 12, a group of miscreants burnt and looted hundreds of Bengali houses and shops after the death of a young tribal boy. After that some tribal miscreants attacked near by non-tribal villages. And due to that in total, more than four hundred people from 165 families effected who are living a more inhumane life in the camp.

Victims complain that what the state government has announced in the name of aid is inadequate. Not a single house will be built with it. But they have lost everything and are now in the camp. That is why the victims have appealed for help. People of the third gender responded to this call first. On Thursday, they went to Gandatwisa and handed over clothes to the sheltered mothers in the camp. They said, they live by taking money from people. From that money, they came forward to help the Gandatwisa riots victims. Their human role brings tears to the eyes of helpless people in Gandatwisa day before yesterday.
