Arrest of second accused in ADC recruitment exam question leakage case , demand for exemplary punishment

The police in Bishalgarh headed by officer in charge of Bishalgarh police station Rana Chatterjee have arrested the second accused Amit Debbarma from Kasba area under Golaghati assembly constituency at dead of night on Sunday in conection with the leakage of question paper of examination for recruitment to 110 prime posts in the ADC administration. The nabbed Amit Debbarma has already been handed over to West Agartala police station where the ADC administration filed a complaint .Amit Debarma will be put through intensive interrogation to get to the bottom of the scam of question paper leakage.

The ADC administration had planned to recruit 110 personnel through competitive exam in 78 places across the state on Sunday , that is June 9 but before that they got the information that question paper f the recruitment exam had been leaked . Forced by circumstances the chief executive member of ADC C.K.Jamatya announced cancellation of the exam on June 8. Besides, the ADC administration also filed a FIR with the West Agartala police station. Acting on the FIR the police arrested a businessman Chayan Saha who runs a Xerox shop in the Advisor Chaumuhuni area of Agartala. After interrogating Chayan Saha police got the lead about the involvement of Amit Debbarma of Golaghati in the leakage scam . After being duly informed by the West Agartala police station, the police in Bishalgarh nabbed Amit Debbarma of Golaghati last night and handed him over to West Agartala police station this morning.

The ADC administration have expressed their satisfaction over the prompt action taken by police in the matter and called for exemplary punishment for the nabbed Chayan Saha and Amit Debbarma.
