The Chief Minister will go to West Bengal after a couple of days to participate in the campaign for the next round Lok Sabha polls.
According to the sources of the state Secretariat, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha may leave the State on April 17 and he will return to the state after completing the election campaign of the fifth, sixth and seventh phases. Three days ago, the Chief Minister returned to the state after completing campaigning for the party candidate in the fourth phase of West Bengal elections. Moreover, almost all the other members of the state cabinet are now campaigning in West Bengal. As a result, normal administrative activities are running at a slow pace. The most of the officers and bureaucrats are reluctant to take any decision as the election code of conduct is applicable. Even the ongoing projects activities have been stopped in most of the cases.
