Voting for West Tripura Lok Sabha seat has been completely rigged, demand for re-polling by India Bloc leadership

The Election Commission itself could not ensure the security of the polling agents of the India Alliance candidates inside the Polling Stations even in the capital. After 2 pm, common people could not vote anywhere in West Tripura Lok Sabha constituency. Since the previous night, BJP people visited the homes of opposition party voters and potential polling agents in every area of West Tripura Lok Sabha constituency and threatened them not to go to the polling station today. But ignoring the threat, many polling agents went to the polling station today. But they were sent back infront of the police. Therefore, 80 percent of the polling stations did not have opposition party polling agents. And on this occasion, BJP people cast other votes illegally in most of the polling stations of West Tripura Lok Sabha constituency. Therefore, the candidates and leadership of India Alliance have demanded cancellation of today's West Tripura Lok Sabha seat voting and demanded for re-voting. Similarly, in the by-election of the capital's Ramnagar Assembly, the leaders of India Alliance have alleged massive vote looting and demanded re-polling.

In a press conference tonight, the leaders of Left Front and India Alliance jointly demanded for this re-polling. Left Front Chairman Narayanan Kar, India Alliance candidate Ashish Kumar Saha, CPM candidate for Ramnagar assembly by-election Ratan Das, Congress's Sudeep Ray Barman, CPM leaders Pavitra Kar, Manik Dey were present in the press conference.

The allagged that the Election Commission did not keep their words for three tier security complaints aside. There was no three-tier security system anywhere. Therefore, out of fear the s huge numbers of common people did not go to vote. And on this occasion, BJP people stole votes in most of the polling stations of West Tripura Lok Sabha constituency. Leaders of India Alliance have demanded cancellation of West Tripura Lok Sabha seat vote. And demanded to ensure that today's incident is not repeated on the day of voting for the East Tripura Lok Sabha seat on April 26. And also demanded to adequate security forces have been deployed and arrangements have been made so that the general public can vote without any rulling parties political pressure. India Alliance's polling agent was thrown out by Netaji's complaint against the polling agent from the school.
