BJP rule will be marked for poor governance, said CPI(M) polit bureau member Manik Sarkar

CPI(M) Polit Bureau Member and former Chief Minister Manik Saha lambasted the BJP government in the state and said their 69-month rule was marked for poor governance. He was addressing a public meeting in Telisamura as part of the party’s state-wide campaign program against the BJP’s misrule.
The meeting mainly focused on the government’s effort to privatize the Railway and Electricity. A procession also was organized in front of the CPI(M) Teliamura divisional committee office that traveled different roads and culminated in a public meeting. Among others the Divisional Committee secretary Hemanta Kumar Jamatia and former MLA Manindra Chandra Das also was present.
Sarkar said the BJP came into power giving a series of assurances but most of them remained unfulfilled. Both in the centre and the state they are list bothered about the sufferings of the common people and instead depend mostly on publicity. He urged the people to stand against this misrule and to raise their voices.
