Major turbulence in Guwahati-Agartala Indigo flight , drug-addicted passenger causes trouble ,later handed over to airport police station

The Agartala-bound Indigo flight from Guwahati today in the afternoon was in a state of turmoil as an inebriated passenger who had consumed drugs had tried to unnecessarily open the emergency exit door of the plan a short while before it landed at the airport. Sources from airport said that the youth who was in drugged condition had boarded the flight at Guwahati airport and was sitting restless. When the flight neared Agartala airport he tried to open the emergency exit door of the plane and beat up the flight’s crew members after they had tried to stop him. Seeing the entire fiasco the other passengers beat up the inebriated youth and made him sit down quietly till the flight landed at Agartala’s MBB airport . After the landing of the flight the Indio crew and other staff members handed over the drugged youth to the officers of the airport police station who had been informed well in advance and were waiting in the airport lounge. Sources said that the Indigo authority have ordered an internal inquiry into the entire incident which could turn out to be dangerous.
