‘Service fortnight’ to be observed by BJP in state on the occasion of prime minister Modi’s 73rd birth anniversary

The BJP in Tripura has launched a welfare programme for rendering service to common people that will commence from today on the occasion of the 73rd birth anniversary of prime minister Narendra Modi. The programme will continue till October 2. This was announced by the state BJP president Rajeev Bhattacharjee in an interaction with the media yesterday in the evening.
On this occasion former minister and incumbent BJP MLA Bhagwan Das is organizing a massive programme in Pabiacherra area where people will be treated to a meal and a cultural programme will come off. In many other places of the state the BJP ‘Mandals’ have also started programmes on service to the people . This will include speeches by leaders on the life and achievements of Narendra Modi since his boyhood days and what all he has done for the people as Gujrat chief minister and prime minister of the country.
In the press conference yesterday Rajeev Bhattacharjee said that the prime minister will announce a new scheme on the occasion of his birth anniversary . “The programme is named Bishwa Karma Kushal Samman Yojana; this programme will benefit 140 groups of people and professionals in the country including black smiths, gold smiths, weavers and in all 18 groups of professionals in the country” said Rajeev. The prime minister had made the announcement in this regard in Red Fort on the occasion of the independence day and altogether Rs 13 thousand crores will be spent on this scheme. Besides, the scheme will involve imparting training to people engaged in the profession, granting of loans to professionals as well as creation of opportunities for marketing of their products.
The state BJP has made arrangements to show the programme to people through LED screens to people in areas covered under various ‘Mandals’. This will be followed by a motor bike rally all over the state by BJP workers and supporters. The press conference was also addressed by the minority leader Jasimuddin and OBC ‘Morcha’ president Samir Ghosh.
