Three new executive members of ADC sworn in by law secretary today

The council hall of the autonomous district council (ADC) was agog today once more with a swearing ceremony function. Three elected members of district council (MDC) were sworn in today by the law secretary Biswajit Palit. The three MDCs who were administered oath of office and secrecy are Ananta Debbarma, Rabindra Debbarma and Runail Debbarma. Their portfolios will be allocated soon by the chief executive member (CEM) P.C.Jamatya. Sources in ADC said that the three new executive members replace Animesh Debbarma, Chitta Debbarma and another who were elected to the state assembly in the last election. It is also likely that by-elections to the three vacancies created by the election to assembly of three members will be notified and held soon. This issue will be discussed in a meeting of the executive committee, highest policy making body of ‘Tipra Motha’ party.
