The union home minister Amit Shah today trained his guns on the regional ‘Tipra Motha’ party urging upon people not to vote for the party as it will strengthen the CPI (M) only. “Vote for Tipra Motha will be vote for CPI (M) only as the parties have reached an under-table understanding; this will spoil the future of Tripura” said Amit Shah. He was addressing an election rally in Santir Bazar area of south Tripura today after arriving here around 12-30 PM and being received at the airport by the chief minister Dr Manik Saha, former chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb and other senior BJP leaders. Before arriving in Tripura Shah had gone to Deoghar in Jharkhand to pay obeisance to ‘Sat Sang Ashram and its founder-saint Thakur Anukul Chandra’, possibly considering the huge number of ‘Sat Sang’ followers in Tripura.

In his brief speech Shah slammed the politics of ‘Tipra Motha’ as a divisive force and said that the party is having an under-table link with the CPI (M). Regarding Tripura Amit Shah said that in the past five years the BJP government has built a base and a launching pad for further development . “Our government has implemented the 7th CPC for employees, officers and pensioners, good infrastructure in the form of roads, railway and air connectivity and a preparatory work is on to make Tripura the best and most developed state in northeast and this will happen soon” said Amit Shah, focusing on the successful implementation of PMAY scheme and various other schemes of Centre for farmers and other sections of people. Shah is scheduled to address another meeting in Khowai in the afternoon.

10.02.2023Prasun Chaudhuri[email protected]It is an uncertain time for Bengali voters. BJP is anti-Bengali in both nature and policies. TMC is extensively corrupt and visionless. The governance quality and developmental initiatives of CPM is very poor.
