Amra Bengali has alleged that a systematic attempt is going on to denigrate the Bangali language in this region and as part of this conspiracy the authority is removing Bengali from all the airports and railway stations.

The Amra Bengali leaders said while addressing a rally at Dharmanagar after submitting a memorandum to the District Magistrate Nagesh Kumar. They submitted a six-point charter of demands that includes more jobs for the unemployed youths.

They said the United Nations has recognized Bengali as fourth language while our state and central governments are trying to strangulate it. They also opposed the government's decision of rehabilitating the Reang Refugees in Tripura.
