CPI (M) polling agent’s motor bike burnt down , violence continues post-poll

The mafia elements and hooligans given a free run by the government and the ruling party have continued their terroristic activities in different parts of the four constituencies that went to polls on June 23. Many households have been attacked and vandalized and many people have sustained injuries. In the latest incident the motor bike of CPI (M) polling agent in 46-Surma assembly constituency Nantu Das was burnt down last night in his home . He was absent from home last night . A large number of BJP goons and miscreants had stormed his house in Kamalpur and set his motor bike standing in the courtyard afire with petrol. The bike was destroyed before Nantu’s family members could douse the fire. Despite complaints there is no arrest.
