Grave resentment among BJP MLAs to explode soon in massive protest move

The BJP central leadership’s bungling reflected in the foisting of Rajya Sabha MP Dr Manik Saha has chief minister without any discussion has caused grave resentment among the majority of party MLAs . Openly protesting the imposition of Manik Saha on the basis of proposal placed by outgoing chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb , the veteran tribal leader and MLA from Ambassa Parimal Debbarma said that they are also with the stand taken by the Jail and co-operation minister Ram Prasad Paul who had burst out in protest in the legislature party meeting. “We support the stand taken by Ram Prasad Paul and you will see our reaction within a short time; many other MLAs also did not lik the way things happened today” said Parimal to media

Speaking to media Parimal said that there was no discussion in the legislature party meeting but the proposal to make Manik Saha the chief minister was unilaterally made and passed without any individual opinion being taken. “He was made the state party president unilaterally and we accepted and then he was made Rajya Sabha MP and we accepted this also ; but how could he be imposed on us as chief minister without taking our opinion” said Parimal. He firmly asserted that the MLAs having differing opinion will not take this lying down.
