Centre advances tax devolution instalment to states ahead of festive season

New Delhi, Nov 05, 2026 : Union Government has released regular instalment of tax devolution to State Governments amounting to 1,09,019 crore rupees today. The monthly instalment normally released on 10th November has been advanced and released on 5th November in view of the festive season.

Finance Ministry said in a statement that tax devolution was released in advance in view of upcoming festive season and to enable States to accelerate capital spending and finance their development and welfare related expenditure.
