Former West Bengal Minister Indranil Sen remanded to police custody

New Delhi, Oct 30, 2026 : The Kolkata City Sessions Court has remanded former West Bengal Minister Indranil Sen to police custody until 10th of next month in connection with an alleged financial irregularities case. He was arrested by Kolkata Police yesterday.

He was produced before the court today. Earlier this month, the Calcutta High Court had rejected former Minister’s anticipatory bail application. However, the High Court granted anticipatory bail to his wife, whose name had also figured in the case
