Arunachal celebrates universal brotherhood day

New Delhi, Sep 12, 2026 : Universal Brotherhood Day was celebrated today across Arunachal Pradesh at various Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas (VKV) to commemorate Swami Vivekananda’s historic address at the World’s Parliament of Religions in Chicago. The programme was organised with enthusiasm at VKV schools across the state, including VKVs at Balijan, Chimpu, Nirjuli, Banderdewa and Vivek Vihar in the Itanagar Capital Region, along with other VKV institutions. The celebrations provided an opportunity for students to reflect on Swami Vivekananda’s message of universal brotherhood, service, character-building and dedicated participation in nation-building.
