GOLD FUTURES RISE RS 1,501 TO RS 1.54 LAKH PER 10 GRAMS ON FIRM SPOT DEMAND
New Delhi, Aug 11, 2026 : Gold prices in futures trade rose by Rs 1,501 to Rs 1.54 lakh per 10 grams on Tuesday, supported by firm spot demand and fresh positions created by speculators.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for October delivery climbed Rs 1,501, or 0.98 per cent, to Rs 1,54,600 per 10 grams. The contracts recorded a business turnover of 1,332 lots.
Market analysts attributed the rise to fresh positions built by participants.
In the international market, gold futures also gained 0.35 per cent to USD 4,406.15 per ounce in New York.
