Vice President CP Radhakrishnan pays tribute to freedom fighters

New Delhi, Aug 09, 2026 : Vice President CP Radhakrishnan has paid tributes to the freedom fighters who participated in the Quit India Movement. In a social media post, he said that they united the nation in the struggle for freedom, taking inspiration from Mahatma Gandhi’s clarion call of Do or Die. The Vice President added that their courage, sacrifice and patriotism continue to inspire generations.
