Govt debunks fake video of PM announcing free electric bicycles

New Delhi, Aug 05, 2026 : The Government has refuted claims circulating on social media that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced free electric bicycles for students having their Aadhaar card. The Fact-Check Unit of Press Information Bureau has said that the video is fake and digitally manipulated. It said that the Prime Minister has not made any such announcement. It has urged people to report such suspicious content to the Government.
