Delhi govt allots internship seats to 275 foreign medical graduates across 12 hospitals

New Delhi, Jul 22, 2026 : Delhi Government has facilitated the allotment of internship seats to 275 Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) following the counselling process across 12 Hospitals. The initiative marks a major step towards strengthening the healthcare ecosystem and supporting aspiring medical professionals in the national capital. On the occasion, Delhi Health Minister Dr Pankaj Kumar Singh assured that every eligible foreign medical graduate receives a fair opportunity to complete their internship and contribute to the healthcare system. He noted that the Delhi Government is committed to creating opportunities for young medical professionals while simultaneously strengthening the healthcare delivery system. Dr Singh said that through this initiative the government is ensuring that deserving candidates can complete their professional training without unnecessary delays.
