National Commission for safai karamcharis reviews sanitation and welfare facilities

New Delhi, Jul 18, 2026 : The National Commission for Safai Karamcharis (NCSK) took a comprehensive review to bolster the working conditions, safety and overall welfare of sanitation workers at a high-level meeting in New Delhi. The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment said that the meeting served as an interactive platform where the grievances and structural concerns highlighted by employee union leaders and ground-level sanitation staff were directly heard and discussed for the future course of tangible action.
