Election trends: BJP leading in West Bengal, Assam, NDA in Puducherry; TVK in Tamil Nadu; Congress in Keralam

New Delhi, May 04, 2026 : Trends are now available for all four states and Puducherry Union territory which went to the polls.

As per latest counting, BJP has taken lead in West Bengal on 180 seats out of the 277 constituencies while, in Tamil Nadu new entrant Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) led by actor C. Joseph Vijay has surged ahead has made a grand debut, leading in 109 seats.

In Assam, BJP is leading in 80 seats out of all the 126 constituencies for which trends are available. Congress is leading in 24 seats, AGP is leading in 09 seats, and Bodoland People’s Front in 10 seats.

In Puducherry, trends are available for 29 of total 30 seats. Ruling AINRC is leading in 10 seats while BJP is leading in 04 AIADMK is leading in 01 seat, DMK is leading in 04 seats.

In West Bengal Ruling Trinamool Congress is leading in 92 seats. In Tamil Nadu Opposition AIADMK is in second position with leads in 64 constituencies. Ruling DMK is trailing at third position with leads in 40 seats. PMK is leading in 06 seats while, Congress is ahead in 05 seats.

In Keralam trends are available for all 140 seats. Congress has taken early lead in 56 constituencies, State’s ruling CPM is ahead in 30 seats, and its ally CPI 11 seats , RSP 03. Kerala Congress is leading in 07, BJP in 02 seats.
