Pravesh Wahi becomes new Mayor of Delhi

New Delhi, Apr 30, 2026 : Bharatiya Janata Party’s Pravesh Wahi has been elected as the new mayor of Delhi and Monika Pant as the Deputy Mayor in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi’s elections held yesterday. A total number of 165 votes were cast, in which Mr Wahi secured 156 votes, while the Congress candidate secured 9 votes.
