‘INDIA DOES NOT FORGET’: INDIAN ARMY
New Delhi, Apr 21, 2026 : Ahead of the first anniversary of the Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian Army on Tuesday reiterated its firm resolve against terrorism, warning that any breach of “the boundaries of humanity” would invite a decisive response.
In a strongly worded post on X, the Army said, “When boundaries of humanity are crossed, the response is decisive. Justice is served. India stands united.” The post was accompanied by a visual referencing Operation Sindoor, carrying the message: “Some boundaries should never be crossed. India does not forget.”
In response to Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, 2025, Indian armed forces launched Operation Sindoor on the intervening night of May 6-7, 2025. The well-coordinated strikes carried out by the Indian Armed Forces precisely hit nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK), killing over 100 terrorists, their trainers, handlers, and associates. Most of the terrorists belonged to organisations like Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen. The operation inflicted maximum damage on the terrorists and their hideouts, and minimum harm to the civilian population.
