EC holds online review of West Bengal poll preparedness

New Delhi, Mar 24, 2026 : The Election Commission yesterday held an online review and training session for District Election Officers, Superintendents of Police, Commissioners of Police, and other officers of West Bengal. To ensure violence-free, intimidation-free, and inducement-free elections in the state, senior Commission officials reviewed the preparedness of the district administration and law and order machinery for the Assembly Elections. During the meeting, the officials assured that minimum facilities would be provided at all polling stations, including voter awareness and outreach activities.
