President inaugurates oncology block at RKM Sevashrama Hospital in Vrindavan

New Delhi, Mar 20, 2026 : President Droupadi Murmu today inaugurated the Nand Kishor Somani Oncology Block at Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama Hospital in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh. The new Oncology Block of Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram is aimed at strengthening cancer care facilities in the region. The Oncology Block is equipped with advanced radiotherapy and diagnostic facilities.

The President is on a three-day visit to Uttar Pradesh from yesterday. Earlier in the morning, President Murmu visited the Premanand Ji Maharaj Ashram. She also visited the Samadhi of Neeb Karori Baba in Vrindavan and paid floral tributes. In the evening, President Murmu will visit Vatsalya Gram, a welfare organisation which works for the care of the elderly, women and children.
