‘MAY EVERYONE’S LIFE BE FILLED WITH COLOURS OF HAPPINESS, PROSPERITY AND SUCCESS’: PM

New Delhi, Mar 04, 2026 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday extended greetings to the nation on the occasion of Holi, saying the festival of colours fills the atmosphere with new energy and brings happiness, prosperity and success to people’s lives.

Taking to social media platform X, PM Modi wrote: “The festival of Holi fills the entire atmosphere with new energy. That is the greatest beauty of this celebration. The way colours of happiness spread everywhere fills everyone with joy and delight”

In another post, the Prime Minister said: “Happy Holi to all our fellow citizens. May this festival of colours and joy bring happiness to everyone. May everyone’s life be filled with the colours of happiness, prosperity and success.”

Earlier in the day, Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and several other leaders extended greetings on the occasion, highlighting the festival’s message of unity, renewal and harmony.

Holi, one of the most widely celebrated Hindu festivals, marks the arrival of spring and the end of winter. Also known as Rangwali Holi, Badi Holi and Dhulandi, the festival is celebrated across the country with colours, music and festive gatherings.
