HOME MINISTER AMIT SHAH PRESENTS 13TH OFFICIAL LANGUAGE REPORT TO PRESIDENT MURMU

New Delhi, Feb 17, 2026 : Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday called on President Droupadi Murmu along with members of the Parliamentary Official Language Committee and presented the Committee’s 13th report.

In a post on X, Shah said, “Today, after meeting with the members of the Parliamentary Official Language Committee, we submitted the 13th report of the committee to the Hon’ble President. By accelerating the committee’s work, in the direction of making the official language even more robust and modern, the committee has submitted 4 reports to the President in the past 6 years, which is a very significant achievement.”

Earlier in the day, the Home Minister addressed the 79th Raising Day ceremony of the Delhi Police as the Chief Guest in the national capital. Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golchha and other dignitaries were present at the event.
