Amul AI’ sets example of integration of artificial intelligence and cooperative framework

New Delhi, Feb 12, 2026 : Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today launched a transformative initiative ‘Amul AI’ in Anand, the milk capital of India. This initiative aims to provide a new digital direction to the dairy industry by integrating Artificial Intelligence into the cooperative framework.

Addressing a massive gathering, the Chief Minister stated that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amul AI will serve as a significant milestone in making the agriculture, animal husbandry, and dairy sectors both modern and self-reliant.

Chief Minister Patel emphasized that the powerful combination of government support, cooperative spirit, and advanced technology has accelerated the pace of development in the state. Amul, which represents a massive network of over 36 lakh milk producers across 18,500 villages, is now transitioning from traditional data management to an integrated AI-driven system. The CM remarked that this technological leap, combined with recent global trade agreements, positions India to rapidly move toward becoming the “Dairy of the World. The event was attended by Gujarat Assembly Speaker Shankar Chaudhary, Agriculture Minister Jitubhai Vaghani, and other senior dignitaries.
