T20 WORLD CUP: RAVI SHASTRI, IAN SMITH, IAN BISHOP TO HEADLINE STAR-STUDDED COMMENTARY PANEL
New Delhi, Feb 06, 2026 : Ravi Shastri, Nasser Hussain, Ian Smith and Ian Bishop will headline the commentary panel for the 10th edition of the T20 World Cup, which begins in India and Sri Lanka on February 7, the International Cricket Council (ICC) said on Thursday.
Former T20 World Cup winners Aaron Finch, Dinesh Karthik, Kumar Sangakkara, Samuel Badree, Robin Uthappa and Carlos Brathwaite are also part of the line-up, along with several former players and current internationals.
The ICC said South Africa captain and reigning ICC World Test Championship winner Temba Bavuma will feature on commentary during the tournament, while 2014 T20 World Cup winner Angelo Mathews is also included. The commentary panel will cover all 55 matches.
Defending champions India will attempt to become the first team to win the T20 World Cup three times and to retain the title.
India begin their campaign on February 7 with a group-stage match against the United States at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
