New Delhi, Dec 06, 2025 : The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast cold wave conditions over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jharkhand, Odisha and Punjab.

IMD has said that dense fog conditions are likely to prevail over Assam, Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. The weather agency also predicted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.

Meanwhile, the air quality in Delhi-NCR has been registered in the “Very Poor” category this morning. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the average Air Quality Index of the region was recorded at 333 as of 7 AM.
