President, HM & Defence Minister pay tribute on anniversary of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks
New Delhi, Nov 26, 2025 : On the anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, President Droupadi Murmu paid tribute to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives to protect the people of the country. In a social media post, the President said that the nation remembers the supreme sacrifice of the soldiers with gratitude. President Murmu urged every citizen to reaffirm their commitment to combat terrorism in all forms and move forward together on the path of progress with a resolve to build a stronger and more prosperous India.
Home Minister Amit Shah paid tributes to all the people who lost their lives in the Mumbai terror attack, which happened on this day in the year 2008. Paying his respect to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives while facing the attack, Mr. Shah in a social media post, said that Terrorism is not a curse for just one country, but for the entire human race. He added that the government’s zero-tolerance policy against terrorism is clear and said that the entire world is appreciating and providing broad support to India’s anti-terrorism campaigns.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today paid homage to all those who lost their lives in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. In a social media post, Mr Singh also paid tribute to the extraordinary courage of the police and security forces who confronted terror with unwavering resolve. The Defence Minister added that the sacrifice of the forces continues to strengthen the country’s fight against every form of terrorism.
