Three senior leaders of banned CPI (Maoist) surrender

New Delhi, Oct 11, 2025 : Three senior leaders of the banned CPI (Maoist) – K. Venkataiah alias Vikas, M. Venkatraju alias Chandu, and Thodem Ganga alias Sony – surrendered before Telangana Director General of Police (DGP) B. Shivadhar Reddy in Hyderabad yesterday.

All three served as State Committee Members, leading key divisions under the Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee (DKSZC) and were carrying a reward of 20 lakh rupees each. Addressing the media, the DGP appealed to all cadres of the banned CPI (Maoist) to lay down their arms and lead normal lives.
