CEC Gyanesh Kumar thanks voters and officials for successful SIR in Bihar

New Delhi, Oct 05, 2025 : Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar has thanked voters of Bihar and election officers, including the Chief Electoral Officers of Bihar, Electoral Registration Officers and Booth Level Officers. He also thanked party leaders and the media for ensuring the successful completion of the Special Intensive Revision in Bihar after 22 years.

The Election Commission published the final voters’ list for the Bihar Assembly elections yesterday. According to this final list, Seven crore 42 lakh voters have been included in the list, who will be able to exercise their franchise in the upcoming Assembly elections.
