War must not be driven by egos, says Air Chief Marshal A. P. Singh

New Delhi, Sep 20, 2025 : Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal A. P. Singh, said that war should not be driven by egos and that the world must learn from India how to start and end a conflict swiftly. Addressing the Annual General Meeting of the Air Force Association in New Delhi on Friday, Mr. Singh said that Operation Sindoor was concluded after India’s anti-terrorism objectives were achieved. Referring to the conflicts in Israel and between Russia and Ukraine, the Air Chief Marshal noted that the continuation of wars comes at a heavy price, as it affects nations deeply. He further emphasised the importance of clearly defining and adhering to military objectives in conflict situations.
