DEFENSE MINISTER RAJNATH SINGH WILL INAUGURATE DEFENSE EQUIPMENT AND DRONE MANUFACTURING UNIT

New Delhi, Aug 30, 2025 : Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are arriving on a visit to Noida today on Saturday. During this, they will land at Sector-113 helipad at around 3:40 pm. Under the program, the Defense Minister and the Chief Minister will inaugurate the defense equipment and drone manufacturing unit here.

Apart from this, the Chief Minister will also review the development works being carried out by Noida Authority and Yamuna Authority. In view of this VVIP visit, the district administration and police have made tight security arrangements. According to the information, Noida Police and Traffic Department started deployment on the main routes since morning. Barricading has been done at various places so that no vehicle can reach near the venue without checking. About 1000 policemen have been deployed in different areas.

A diversion plan has also been implemented to keep the traffic system smooth. Police officials say that any kind of lapse regarding the security of the Chief Minister and Defense Minister will not be tolerated. This is the reason why teams of police, PAC and intelligence department are active on the routes from the helipad to the venue and its surroundings. Apart from this, surveillance is also being done with drone cameras. There is enthusiasm in the industry regarding the inauguration of the drone and defense equipment manufacturing unit.

This step will give a new direction to 'Make in India' and 'Atmanirbhar Bharat'. This unit will not only strengthen the country in the defense sector but will also create new employment opportunities for the youth. The local administration says that information has already been given on the routes so that the movement of the general public is not affected much. Since morning, the police and traffic department teams have been active and giving information about alternative routes to the drivers.
