Rahul Gandhi to launch ‘Voters Rights Yatra’ from Bihar

New Delhi, Aug 18, 2025 : Senior Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, will launch the “Voters Rights Yatra” today from Sasaram, Bihar. Before commencing the yatra, Mr. Gandhi will address a public meeting at Suara Hawai Adda Maidan shortly, which is underway.

The 16-day-long yatra will cover about 1,300 kilometres, passing through 25 districts of the state. Leaders of the INDI alliance, including the RJD and Left parties, are also participating in the public meeting at Sasaram. During the march, alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls will be highlighted.
