NATIONAL ANUBHAV AWARDS 2025
New Delhi, Aug 18, 2025 : Union Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Dr. Jitendra Singh today will confer the National Anubhav Awards 2025 in New Delhi. The awards honour retired and retiring government employees for documenting their experiences and contributions through the Anubhav portal, launched in 2015 to preserve administrative history through personal memoirs.
This year, 15 awardees from 11 Ministries and Departments have been selected from nearly 1,500 write-ups. The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) leads with four awards, followed by two from DRDO. For the first time, employees from SBI, BHEL, the Department of Land Resources, and the Ministry of Jal Shakti will also be honoured. Notably, 33% of the awardees are women, reflecting their growing role in governance.
Since its launch, the Anubhav portal has published over 12,500 write-ups and conferred 78 awards.
Alongside the awards, Singh will inaugurate the 57th Pre-Retirement Counselling Workshop, which will guide more than 1,200 soon-to-retire employees on pension procedures, health benefits, grievance redressal, and investment options. A special exhibition by 19 pension-disbursing banks and India Post Payments Bank will also be organized to assist retirees.
In addition, the Minister will release guidelines for the upcoming Nation-wide Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Campaign 4.0, scheduled for November 2025. The initiative allows pensioners to submit life certificates digitally from their homes, significantly improving convenience and ease of living.
