The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), through its West District unit, organised a Path Sanchalan (ceremonial march) and rally at the Pragati Vidyamandir ground in Agartala on Sunday. Tripura Minister Sushanta Chowdhury participated in the programme and expressed his pride in being part of the event, highlighting the values of discipline, unity, fraternity and service to the nation.
Chowdhury shared the information through his social media account, stating that he felt proud and happy to participate in the programme, which was inspired by the spirit of discipline, collective strength, brotherhood and national service.
“Strength lies in unity, and glory lies in discipline. Our resolve is to move forward in the service of society and the nation,” the minister said in his message, emphasising the importance of collective effort and dedication to social welfare.
The programme, organised by the RSS West District unit, featured a large-scale ceremonial march that proceeded through different streets of the capital. Such Path Sanchalan programmes are held periodically in Agartala and other parts of Tripura as part of the organisation’s activities.
The march served as an occasion for RSS volunteers to demonstrate organised participation and discipline while reaffirming their commitment to the organisation’s stated ideals of social unity and national service.
The RSS has maintained an organisational presence in Tripura through its regular programmes, volunteer activities and outreach initiatives. Its ceremonial marches have also become a recurring feature of the organisation’s public activities in the state capital.
The participation of Minister Sushanta Chowdhury added political visibility to Sunday's programme. However, the event was organised by the RSS West District unit as part of its organisational activities.
The programme concluded as part of the organisation’s continuing efforts to promote discipline, collective participation and its message of service to society and the nation.
