Final TTAADC VC Election Results Declared : Tipra Motha Wins 3,428 of 4,594 Seats, BJP Secures 859, CPIM 87

The final results of the TTAADC Village Committee Elections 2026 have been declared, with the State Election Commission’s final report showing a decisive victory for the Tipra Motha Party (TMP), which emerged as the dominant political force across the Village Committees.
According to the final results report issued by the State Election Commission at 6:00 AM on October 6, 2026, elections were held across 587 Village Committees, comprising 2,634 constituencies and 4,597 seats.
1,644 Seats Declared Uncontested
The final post-nomination scenario showed that 167 complete Village Committees were declared uncontested, covering 1,644 seats. In addition, three seats remained vacant. Consequently, the effective number of seats for which results were declared stood at 4,594.
Of the total 4,597 seats, 2,950 seats went to contest across 420 Village Committees. The polling process covered 44 R.D. Blocks, while counting was conducted in 45 counting halls.
The final report confirmed that counting had been completed and that no counting hall had any counting pending at the time of issuance of the final results.
Tipra Motha Secures 3,428 Seats
Including both contested and uncontested victories, Tipra Motha secured 3,428 seats, accounting for approximately 74.62 per cent of the 4,594 seats for which results were declared.
The BJP finished second with 859 seats, representing approximately 18.70 per cent of the declared seats.
Independent candidates secured 173 seats, while the CPI(M) won 87 seats. The IPFT secured 33 seats, and the Congress won 14 seats.
Thus, the final party-wise distribution of the 4,594 declared seats was TMP 3,428, BJP 859, Independents 173, CPI(M) 87, IPFT 33 and Congress 14.
TMP Wins 1,867 of 2,950 Contested Seats
The results from the seats that went to direct contest also showed a clear advantage for Tipra Motha. Out of 2,950 contested seats, TMP won 1,867 seats, while the BJP secured 778 seats.
Independent candidates won 172 contested seats, CPI(M) won 86, IPFT secured 33, and Congress won 14 seats.
The contested-seat results therefore stood at TMP 1,867, BJP 778, Independents 172, CPI(M) 86, IPFT 33 and Congress 14.
The figures demonstrate that Tipra Motha's strong performance was not limited to uncontested victories. The party also maintained a substantial lead over its rivals in seats where candidates faced direct electoral contests.
Counting Completed Across 44 R.D. Blocks
The State Election Commission confirmed that counting and declaration of results had been completed across all 44 R.D. Blocks involved in the election process. No counting was pending in any of the 45 counting halls when the final report was issued.
With the declaration of the final results, the 2026 TTAADC Village Committee electoral process has officially concluded. Tipra Motha has emerged as the largest political force with 3,428 of the 4,594 seats for which results were declared, while the BJP finished second with 859 seats. Independent candidates and the opposition parties, including CPI(M), IPFT and Congress, secured the remaining seats.
