TTAADC Village Committee Election Results at 7:30 PM: TMP Wins 2,939 Seats, BJP 567, IND 110, CPM 45, IPFT 17, Congress 10

The latest official update from the Tripura State Election Commission shows the Tipra Motha Party (TMP) maintaining a commanding lead in the 2026 TTAADC Village Committee elections, with 2,939 seats declared won as of around 7:30 PM on October 5.
According to the State Election Commission's election results portal, the information was last updated at 7:06:30 PM, with results declared for 3,688 of the 4,594 Village Committee constituencies listed on the portal. The Commission has cautioned that the information is being displayed based on data entered into the system by Returning Officers from their respective counting centres.
TMP Far Ahead of BJP
TMP has secured 2,939 seats, placing it overwhelmingly ahead of all other political parties and candidates. The figure represents approximately 63.96 per cent of the 4,594 seats listed in the latest SEC update.
The BJP is in second position with 567 seats, accounting for approximately 12.34 per cent of the total constituencies.
The gap between TMP and BJP stands at 2,372 seats, highlighting the extent of TMP's dominance in the Village Committee elections at this stage.
Independents in Third Position
Independent candidates have secured 110 seats, placing them third in the overall results. Their tally represents approximately 2.39 per cent of the total 4,594 constituencies.
CPI(M) has won 45 seats, accounting for approximately 0.98 per cent of the total seats.
IPFT and Congress
The Indigenous People's Front of Tripura (IPFT) has secured 17 seats, representing approximately 0.37 per cent of the total constituencies.
Congress has won 10 seats, equivalent to approximately 0.22 per cent of the total.
The remaining parties listed by the State Election Commission—AIFB, CPI, CPI(ML)L and RSP—have not secured any seat so far according to the latest update.
Party-wise Position at 7:30 PM
The official position is TMP 2,939, BJP 567, Independents 110, CPI(M) 45, IPFT 17 and Congress 10. AIFB, CPI, CPI(ML)L and RSP remain at zero.
The declared results across all parties add up to 3,688 seats, exactly matching the number of constituencies for which results had been declared by the latest SEC update. 906 constituencies remained to be declared out of the 4,594 constituencies shown on the portal.
District-wise Counting Position
The district-wise figures show that counting and declaration of results were at different stages across Tripura.
In Dhalai, out of 902 constituencies, results had been declared in 468, while counting was continuing in 434. In Gomati, 611 results had been declared and 172 were still under counting out of 783 constituencies.
In Khowai, all 541 constituencies had been declared, while West Tripura had also completed all 652 declarations.
In North Tripura, 334 results had been declared and 132 remained under counting. In Sepahijala, 435 had been declared and 19 remained under counting.
In South Tripura, 524 of the 538 constituencies had been declared, leaving 14 under counting. Unakoti had 123 results declared, with 135 constituencies still under counting.
Results Still Being Updated
The State Election Commission has made clear that its online figures are based on information entered by Returning Officers at individual counting centres. Therefore, the figures remain subject to further updates as counting progresses and additional results are formally entered into the system.
With 3,688 of 4,594 constituencies declared, the latest picture at around 7:30 PM shows TMP firmly in command, with the BJP occupying a distant second position.
The final political balance of the 2026 TTAADC Village Committee elections will become clearer once counting is completed and all 4,594 constituencies have been declared.
