Hindu teacher physically assaulted in front of school by Muslim miscreants in Sunamganj district of Bangladesh

Even though the minority Hindus continue to be preferred targets of the communalized Muslim miscreants of Bangladesh, their wrath now is falling on the Hindu teachers who earn handsomely from private tuition. Such things have been happening in different parts of the Bangladeshi hell-scape for a long time though it gained a momentum during the disastrous one and half year misrule of Md Yunus and his cohorts in the illegitimate interim government.

In the latest incident, Liton Chandra Barman (45) the acting headmaster of a government primary school in Patharia Kanda area under Dharmapasha subdistrict in Sunamganj district of northern Bangladesh, was physically assaulted in front of the school around 10-00 in the morning on September 27. Sources from Sunamganj area of Banglaldesh said that Liton Chandra Barman,a popular headmaster as well as private tutor, had a land dispute with the local BNP mafia Afzal Hossain (50) who had been trying to encroach on and illegally occupy part of his landed property. Realising that Liton Barman would approach police and court to protect his land , mafia Afzal Hossain and a number of his cohorts blocked Liton Chandra Barman’s way in front of his school and students on September 27 and started abusing him. When Liton asked them not to abuse in front of students the mafia force led by Afzal Hossain pounced on him and seriously injured him by beating . A section of local people,mostly Hindus of the area, took him to Dharmapasha sub-district hospital for treatment and he is now reportedly recovering. This incident has deepened the fear psychosis among the minority Hindus of the area.

Sources said that the communalized Muslim criminals of Bangladesh have long been targeting popular Hindu teachers . During the one and half year misrule and anarchy under Md Yunus more than two hundred teachers , mostly Hindus, were forced to resign their jobs in many parts of Bangladeshi hell-scape. In one particularly gory incident the headmistress of a higher secondary school Gitanjali Barua in Azimpur near Dhaka was tied around a tree in front of the school and beaten up , spat upon and shoed by her own devilish Muslim criminal students in the initial days of the interim government in August 2024. Two years before that a Hindu headmaster of a higher secondary school had been paraded on the road with a garland of shoes around his neck by his fiendish students and their guardians simply because he had protected a Hindu student from being murdered brutally by Muslim criminal students for ‘liking’ a ‘Facebook’ post. This had happened in Rangpur district though many similar incidents have happened to Hindu teachers in other parts of Goddam Bangladesh but the shameless subhumans who perpetrated such gory crimes remain brazen for all these.
