After SP, SDPO, Sector Officer Also Injured in TMP Attack, IG Law & Order Ipper Manchak Rushes to Udaipur

Tension escalated in Udaipur amid violence reported during the TTAADC Village Committee Election, after SP Anirban Das, SDPO Debanjali Roy, a Sector Officer allegedly sustaining injuries in an attack.

Following the incident, IG Law & Order Shri Ipper Manchak rushed to Udaipur tonight to take stock of the situation and oversee the security arrangements.

The development comes amid reports of clashes and allegations of attacks involving candidates, polling agents and security personnel in different areas during Monday’s polling.

Senior police officials have reached the affected areas, while security forces have been deployed to prevent any further escalation. The exact circumstances of the attack on the Sector Officer and the identities of those responsible are yet to be officially confirmed.

Authorities are monitoring the situation closely as polling continues across the TTAADC areas.
