Hindu hounding and persecution continues unabated in Bangladesh, innocent Hindu student expelled , property looted in Gopanganj

‘The faithful (Momins) live by lawlessness, they grope in the dark tunnel of perfidies and crawl in the labyrinth of profanities’- so observed a Muslim author proscribed all across the Islamic world. But the truth of what he said is being continuously lived and realized by the hapless Hindu minorities in Islamic Bangladesh. What comes as a wonder to the uninitiated is the sense of satisfaction and achievement savoured by the ‘Momins’ whenever they mistreat, humiliate and even kill a non-believer (Kafir) which is scripturally considered an act of piety. This self-assurance of immunity from any sense of guilt or remorse stems from belief in an absolutely hollow and false creed of terror, mayhem and murder.

Nothing illustrates the point better than the fate that befell a hapless Hindu college student of second year in the Alif Sovan college under the Bahubal subdistrict under the Habiganj district in Bangladesh this week. Sources from across the border said that Piyal Biswas (20) , a student of the Alif Sovan college , and a resident of Babubal , had gone to the institution on last Monday. During the leisure hour Piyal had been chatting with three of his female class mates , Shiropa Begum (20), Moon Moon Begum (20) and Sharifa Khatun (20) and allowed himself to be part of a selfie taken on mobile of one of his class-mates. This circulated in the social media and sparked a furore and outrage among the ‘Momins’ of the area. The self-appointed guardians among the pretentious ‘Momins’ intervened strongly and invaded the college next day-that is on Tuesday, 22nd September. In front of all students Piyal Biswas was forced to tender an apology with folded hands but, not relenting at that, the ‘Mullah’ brigade got the principal of the college to expel hapless Piyal Biswsas from the college and suspend the three girls for an indefinite period.

In yet another incident of ‘Mollah’ brigade’s perfidy, another Hindu businessman named Neel Kantha Mandal (55), resident of Baro Bhatra village under Muksudpur subdistrict in Gopalganj district, was robbed of all his properties including his business establishment by a band of pathologically communal Muslim mob yesterday. Neel Kantha Mandal’s cardinal sin was that he had set up a factory on his validly purchased land for making Citi-gold ornaments and this had raised the hackles of the heinous Muslim communal brigands of the area. Yesterday a large band of the faithful including women invaded his land and factory and totally vandalized the factory as well as his house-hold besides beating up members of the family with the purpose of driving out Neelkantha and his family from the locality in order to illegally capture his land and factory bannered as ‘Nayan Enterprise’. Neelkantha has filed a complaint with the Muksudpur police station and three persons have been arrested but the rest are roaming free.

Speaking from a feeling of utter helplessness a Hindu man said telephonically that ‘we now have only God to save us from total destruction as neither India nor the rest of the world seem willing to do anything to save us from slow but steady march towards death’. Except a few sane voices among elected MPs and political leaders there is no positive voice among the Muslims in Bangladesh who feel that the minuscule minority Hindus need protection and compassionate treatment.
