Adding another prestigious recognition to his achievements, the Principal of the School of Science has been conferred with the ‘Gyan Yogi Samman – 2026’ by the Shri Shri Kalimata Mandir Navjyoti Sangha, a non-political and non-governmental organisation based near Tripura University.

The latest honour comes shortly after he received the ‘Banga-Tripura Shiksha Gourav Samman – Lifetime Achievement Award’ in Kolkata, recognising his longstanding contribution to the field of education.

The Gyan Yogi Samman 2026 was presented by the Shri Shri Kalimata Mandir Navjyoti Sangha in recognition of his contribution to education, guidance and the development of students and society. The organisation's felicitation message highlighted the importance of teachers and educators whose knowledge, inspiration and guidance continue to influence the lives of others.

The award also acknowledges values such as honesty, hard work, discipline, humanity and courage, which the organisation considers essential qualities in shaping responsible and successful individuals.

The back-to-back recognitions in Kolkata and Tripura have brought further appreciation to the Principal's contribution to the education sector. While the Lifetime Achievement Award recognised his long-term service and contribution to education, the Gyan Yogi Samman 2026 represents another significant acknowledgement from a community-based, non-political and non-governmental organisation.

The Shri Shri Kalimata Mandir Navjyoti Sangha, located at Ramakrishna Palli near Tripura University, expressed its respect and gratitude through the special felicitation, describing educators and mentors as individuals who can illuminate lives through knowledge, encouragement and inspiration.

The latest award is being viewed as another significant milestone in the Principal's educational journey and as an encouragement to continue working for the advancement of students, education and society.
