Tripura BJP Chief Says Organisational Issues Will Be Resolved Internally, Warns Against Anti-Party Activities

Tripura Pradesh BJP president Abhishek Debroy has said that the party’s recent organisational restructuring is part of its established internal process and that differences among workers will be addressed through the appropriate party mechanism. At the same time, he made it clear that

activities considered detrimental to the party’s interests would invite disciplinary action.

Debroy made the remarks while addressing a press conference at the BJP state headquarters in Agartala on Tuesday, amid questions surrounding the recent reconstitution of mandal-level organisational committees and reports of dissatisfaction among sections of party workers.

Responding to questions about workers whose names did not figure in the newly constituted mandal committees, Debroy clarified that exclusion from a particular organisational committee does not mean that a worker has been removed from the BJP.

According to him, mandal committees are reconstituted as part of the party’s organisational cycle, and workers may continue to remain associated with the party even if they are not included in a particular committee.

He said that organisational issues and differences would be examined within the party’s established mechanism rather than being allowed to develop into wider organisational disputes.

At the same time, the BJP state president issued a clear warning regarding activities allegedly being carried out against the interests of the organisation.

Debroy said that if allegations of anti-party activities are established, the party can take organisational and disciplinary action against the individuals concerned.
